Shareena Casterline

Pronouns: she/her

Client Services Counselor at BANANAS Inc.

Shareena Casterline is a child care advocate who believes that the heart of community service lies in the same warmth and care found in genuine hospitality. Currently serving as a Client Services Counselor at BANANAS Inc., Shareena applies her expertise in subsidy management and regulatory compliance to ensure every family feels welcomed and supported. 

Her approach to board service is deeply informed by her professional background in social services, including her previous role as a Social Services Assistant for the State of Hawaii. Having navigated the foster care system herself as a child, Shareena brings a unique and empathetic perspective to her work, and is dedicated to transforming complex systems into accessible, nurturing pathways for children and caregivers. 

Shareena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Management from the Art Institute of Colorado. She is  committed to the principle that true impact starts with listening and creating a sense of belonging for every family.
