Fight for Change

Help Pass the Affordable
Child Care Family Fees Act

The Affordable Child Care Family Fees Act would bring us a step closer to this goal by waiving family fees for all families in publicly-funded child care through October 31, 2023. Passing the Affordable Child Care Family Fees Act would immediately put money back into the pockets of families and child care providers. To help pass the Affordable Child Care Family Fees Act, sign up for updates here!

Tell Your Legislators to Support
Child Care in Congress

The House of Representatives passed major funding for child care, paid leave and universal preschool last December, but the Senate has not yet passed it.
Your voice matters in the movement to win child care funding for all. Join us by contacting your lawmakers and asking them to sign on to this letter authored by Senator Warren (D-MA) and Congresswoman Clark (D-MA).

Join Child Care Providers United

If you are a California child care provider, learn more about opportunities to join a local chapter of Child Care Providers United (CCPU-CA), a joint partnership of SEIU and AFSCME, on the Child Care Providers United website.

Mobilize with the Union to win better rates, opportunities for training, and affordable child care for more families!

Take Action with Parent Voices:

If you are a California parent, we invite you to get involved with Parent Voices, a grassroots, parent-led organization fighting to make child care affordable and accessible for all families. Learn about how you can take action with Parent Voices here!
